We only have a few weeks left to influence the Government’s upcoming Modern Service Framework for Frailty and Dementia. These national plans will set out how people affected by dementia in England are supported for years to come.
But to be truly transformational, the Framework must ensure that everyone affected by dementia has access to:
- Coordinated care underpinned by a named professional, and access to dementia specialists
- Proactive, personalised support from diagnosis through to end of life
- Dedicated support for families and unpaid carers
